Retail Franchise Lead
Job summary
The Retail Franchise Lead will be responsible for building, launching, and scaling the business franchise retail network across Lagos and other target states. The role owns franchise acquisition, partner onboarding, operational enablement, and performance management of franchise outlets.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the retail franchise expansion strategy across assigned regions
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified franchise partners
- Design franchise operating model including SOPs, pricing discipline, and store operations standards
- Lead franchise partner due diligence (financial capacity, location viability, operational fit)
- Drive rollout of new franchise outlets from signing to launch readiness
- Establish performance tracking systems (sales, compliance, stock management, profitability)
- Provide ongoing operational support and business coaching to franchise partners
- Monitor outlet performance and implement corrective actions where needed
- Collaborate with supply chain, finance, and marketing teams to ensure franchise success
- Ensure adherence to brand standards across all franchise locations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field
- 4–7 years of experience in franchise management, retail expansion, or multi-site operations
- Strong understanding of FMCG/food retail distribution models (preferred)
- Experience in partner/vendor management and field operations
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
