Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Residential Chef to provide full-time culinary services for a private household in Lagos. The ideal candidate must be skilled in preparing a wide range of local and continental dishes, creating weekly meal plans, managing kitchen supplies, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality meals daily, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and occasional snacks.
- Cook a wide variety of Nigerian, continental, and specialty dishes (grills, pastries, healthy options, etc.).
- Create customized weekly meal plans based on client preferences, dietary restrictions, and health goals.
- Ensure consistent taste, presentation, and freshness of all meals prepared.
- Cater for small private events, guests, and special occasions when required.
- Manage kitchen operations, including cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining proper food storage standards.
- Handle grocery shopping, inventory control, and budget management.
- Maintain an organized pantry and ensure all ingredients are stocked and fresh.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Adapt to changing household schedules and meal timing requirements.
- Coordinate with household staff to ensure smooth service.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion in the household.
- Deliver quality meals even under time constraints.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3–5 years experience as a Chef in a private residence, hotel, or restaurant.
- Certification from a culinary school or professional training program is a strong advantage.
- Ability to prepare diverse local and international cuisines.
- Experience working with high-net-worth households is an added advantage.
- Excellent cooking and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of dietary requirements, special diets, and healthy meal options.
- Ability to multitask, manage time, and work independently.
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability.
- Good communication skills.
- Must reside in Lagos or be willing to relocate.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends when needed.
- Physically fit and able to handle kitchen demands.
- Valid ID and verifiable references.
