Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and general health conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist doctors and other healthcare professionals during clinical procedures.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare, medications, and preventive care.
- Identify and report changes in patients’ conditions promptly.
- Maintain proper infection-prevention and control procedures.
- Assist with patient admissions, assessments, and discharge procedures.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and provide basic life support when required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional clinical environment.
- Follow established healthcare policies, ethical standards, and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification.
- Valid nursing registration/licence to practise in Nigeria.
- B.NSc or equivalent nursing qualification is an advantage.
- Previous clinical experience is an advantage, but suitable entry-level candidates may be considered.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
