Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures
- Prepare and maintain theatre equipment and sterile environments
- Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery
- Provide comprehensive post-operative care and patient education
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety standards
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a valid practicing license
- Minimum of 1 year post-qualification experience
- Proven experience in theatre nursing and post-operative care
- Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
