The Role

We are looking for a qualified and passionate Nutritionist to join us on a short-term contract basis. This is a paid engagement and You will be the nutritional lead on a focused project to build the meal plan and food framework that powers Nurri’s recommendation engine.

You will work closely with the research team, setting the standard for how all health goals are documented and reviewed before the work is handed off to engineering.

What you’ll do

• Build a master meal plan template covering structure, nutrient breakdowns, calorie frameworks and Nigerian food alternatives

• Brief and guide a research team to complete documentation across 20+ health goals using your template

• Review all completed health goal documents for nutritional accuracy and clinical scope

• Ensure all conditional categories include appropriate wellness disclaimers

• Conduct a final joint review with the Head of R&D before engineering handoff

What We’re Looking For

• A degree or certification in Nutrition, Dietetics or a related field

• Strong working knowledge of Nigerian and West African foods, meal patterns and dietary habits

• Experience creating meal plans, nutrient guides or food-based health content

• Ability to communicate complex nutritional information in simple, user-friendly language

• Comfortable working independently and delivering to deadlines

• Prior experience with digital health, wellness apps or content

platforms is a plus
