We are seeking a highly experienced and self-sufficient Recruiter to join our team, based in Lagos, Nigeria. This position will work directly under the Recruiter in the Limassol office, assisting with recruitment operations across the African Forex & Fintech markets. The ideal candidate should be well-networked within the African Forex and Fintech industries and able to manage recruitment tasks independently without requiring constant supervision.
You will handle end-to-end recruitment for Forex and Fintech roles, ensuring the seamless delivery of talent solutions to our clients while reporting to the Recruiter in Limassol.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct full‑cycle recruitment operations for Forex and Fintech roles in Africa (including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and shortlisting candidates).
- Build and maintain a strong network of candidates and industry contacts within the African Forex & Fintech sectors.
- Advertise job openings, manage inbound applications, and proactively headhunt through various channels.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and present qualified candidates to the Limassol office.
- Maintain candidate pipelines and track recruitment progress using a recruitment database or Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Communicate effectively with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and feedback.
- Ensure all recruitment activities align with the company’s standards and operational goals.
- Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment activities to the Recruiter in Limassol.
Candidate Profile & Requirements Must-Have:
- Proven experience as a recruiter in the Forex, Fintech, or related industries — with strong knowledge of the African market.
- Extensive network within the African Forex & Fintech recruitment space.
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruitment (sourcing, interviewing, screening, and shortlisting).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple recruitment tasks and roles simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using job boards, LinkedIn, social media, and other sourcing tools.
Preferred (Nice to Have):
- Previous experience working remotely or liaising with international teams.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or similar recruitment software.
- Understanding of global trends in the Forex and Fintech job market.
- Ability to handle high-volume recruitment if needed.
Office & Transportation Requirements
- Full-time, office-based role.
- Must be able to commute to the office using your own means of transport, as we do not provide transportation.
- Candidate must reside in the Lagos area.
