Job summary
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for the company, creating a professional and welcoming environment for clients, visitors, and employees. This role manages the front desk, responds to inquiries, directs calls and guests, and provides essential administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer, screen, and forward phone calls, and respond to inquiries promptly.
- Manage the reception area to ensure it is tidy, professional, and well-presented at all times.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Maintain visitor logs, issue visitor passes, and ensure security procedures are followed.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings.
- Provide basic information about the company to clients, visitors, and callers.
- Assist with clerical duties such as photocopying, filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Maintain and update office records, contact lists, and filing systems.
- Support other departments with administrative tasks as required.
- Report any issues relating to office supplies, equipment, or maintenance.
Requirements:
- OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Officer, or in a similar customer-facing role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Customer service-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
