The receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients and callers, creating a positive and professional impression of the organization. The role involves welcoming guests, answering and directing phone calls, responding to inquiries, managing appointments, handling correspondence, and performing general administrative duties.

Responsibilities:
- Welcoming Guests: Greet clients and visitors warmly, determine their needs, and direct them to the appropriate staff member or department.
- Communication Hub: Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls, while taking accurate messages and handling email inquiries.
- Security & Access: Monitor the front desk, maintain visitor logs, and issue visitor badges to ensure building security.
- Correspondence: Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail, packages, and courier deliveries.
- Administrative Support: Assist with clerical duties including data entry, filing, scanning, photocopying, and faxing.
- Scheduling: Manage office calendars, book meeting or conference rooms, and arrange travel or accommodations when necessary.
- Office Maintenance: Monitor front office supply inventory, order stationery, and maintain a neat, professional reception area
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline.
- Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic computer skills.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
