Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Perform X-ray and ultrasound examinations in accordance with established clinical protocols.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images to support accurate medical diagnosis.
- Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging procedures.
- Ensure the safe operation and routine maintenance of radiology and ultrasound equipment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection prevention protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Radiography.
- Registered with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN) with a valid practising licence.
- Minimum of 2 years' post-NYSC experience.
- Must be competent in both Radiography and Sonography.
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and equipment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
