Radiographer

Responsibilities:

• Perform X-ray and other diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Prepare patients for imaging examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
• Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment while adhering to radiation safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention and radiation protection guidelines.
• Review image quality and maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support timely diagnosis and treatment.
• Report equipment faults and participate in routine quality assurance activities.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. or equivalent qualification in Radiography from a recognized institution.
• Currently practicing with a license from the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
• Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in a hospital or diagnostic imaging facility.
• Sound knowledge of radiographic procedures, radiation safety, and patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality healthcare services.
