Job summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiation Oncologist to provide specialized cancer treatment using radiation therapy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering precise radiation treatments, managing cancer patients, and working closely with a multidisciplinary oncology team to ensure safe and effective care

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose cancer patients requiring radiation therapy
- Develop individualized radiation treatment plans based on diagnosis, staging, and imaging results
- Prescribe and supervise radiation therapy sessions (external beam, brachytherapy, etc.)
- Work closely with medical physicists and radiation therapists to ensure accurate dose delivery
- Monitor patient progress during and after radiation treatment
- Manage and treat side effects of radiation therapy
- Collaborate with medical oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, and palliative care teams
- Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary cancer case discussions
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
- Participate in on-call oncology coverage where required
- Contribute to cancer awareness, prevention, and early detection programs
Requirements:
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
- Fellowship in Radiology/Oncology with specialization in Radiation Oncology (FWACP, FMCR, MRCP, or equivalent)
- Subspecialty training in Radiation Oncology
- Valid practicing license with MDCN
- Minimum of 10–15 years post-specialist experience
- Strong knowledge of radiation therapy techniques and oncology protocols
- Excellent clinical judgment and patient management skills
- Ability to work with advanced radiotherapy equipment and technology
