Role Description

We are seeking a Python Instructor to join our team on a contract basis for a hybrid role. Based in Lagos, this position offers flexibility with a combination of on-site teaching and remote work. The instructor will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging Python programming lessons, designing practical exercises and projects, assessing student progress, and providing mentorship to enhance their understanding of programming concepts and problem-solving skills. They will also support students in preparing for certifications and employment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python programming and related concepts, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and debugging
• Experience with frameworks and tools such as Django, Flask, or Pandas is an advantage
• Strong instructional and mentoring skills with experience in teaching or training
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to create engaging course materials and projects for a diverse audience
• Relevant certifications in Python programming or software development (preferred)
• Adaptability to work in a hybrid environment
