Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Source and procure quality food and non-food items from reliable suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate favourable terms.
- Monitor supplier performance, pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Work closely with the Store/Inventory team to monitor stock levels and replenishment needs.
- Maintain accurate procurement, supplier, and inventory-related records.
- Conduct market surveys and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure all purchases comply with Company procurement procedures and approval processes.
- Verify quantities and quality of items received.
- Prepare regular procurement reports for Management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND in Procurement, Purchasing & Supply, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in procurement.
- Proven experience in inventory/stock management is mandatory.
- Experience in hospitality, restaurant, bakery, food production, or FMCG is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, and organisational skills.
