Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct community health assessments to identify health needs and risk factors.
- Implement health promotion and disease prevention programs (e.g., immunisation drives, hygiene campaigns, maternal health education).
- Educate individuals and groups on healthy lifestyle choices, nutrition, sanitation, and disease control.
- Support surveillance and reporting of communicable diseases and public health emergencies.
- Assist in organising and facilitating community health workshops and outreach events.
- Maintain accurate records and submit health reports to supervisors or relevant authorities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, NGOs, and local agencies to improve public health outcomes.
- Conduct home visits and follow-ups to ensure adherence to health interventions.
- Promote awareness of national and local health policies and programs.
