Responsibilities:
Program Development:
- Develop and implement public health programs and policies
- Identify and assess community health needs
- Design and implement health education and outreach initiatives
Data Analysis:
- Analyze data to identify health trends and risks
- Use data to inform program development and evaluation
- Develop and track performance metrics
Collaboration and Partnerships:
- Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and community groups
- Build and maintain partnerships with stakeholders
- Represent the organization at public health events and meetings
Research and Evaluation:
- Conduct research to inform public health practice
- Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations
- Stay up-to-date on public health trends and best practices
Emergency Response:
- Respond to public health emergencies and outbreaks
- Develop and implement emergency response plans
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Public Health (MPH) or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public health, preferably in a leadership role
- Strong understanding of public health principles and practices
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with data analysis and program evaluation
- Knowledge of health policy and advocacy
- Certification in public health (CPH) or related certification preferred
