Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Support the supervision of interior finishing and design projects to ensure timely completion within budget.
  • Coordinate artisans, craftsmen, and contractors on site.
  • Create and maintain detailed project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Carry out site visits to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to design specifications.
  • Identify and promptly flag site challenges that arise to the senior team.
  • Support the procurement and delivery of materials and furnishings.
  • Document project progress and maintain comprehensive project files.
  • Support project quality inspections before final client handover.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Survey, Estate Management, Building Technology, Construction Management, or other related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in building- or interior finishing-related project management.
  • Willingness to grow ability in managing artisans and on-site personnel effectively.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and finishes.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation capabilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and design specifications.


Desirable:

  • Knowledge of local artisan networks and vendors in Nigeria is desirable.
  • Experience with custom furniture production processes is a plus.
  • Understanding of Nigerian building materials and construction practices is required.
  • Familiarity with sustainable design practices and materials is desirable.
  • Basic CAD knowledge is a plus.
