Architect

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop architectural concepts, plans, layouts, and blueprints for residential and commercial projects.
• Consult with clients to understand their needs, preferences, project objectives, and budget requirements.
• Conduct site visits, surveys, and assessments to determine site conditions and design feasibility.
  
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, 3D models, presentations, and realistic renderings using appropriate design software.
  
• Ensure that architectural designs comply with applicable building codes, planning regulations, zoning requirements, and relevant standards.
  
• Incorporate sustainable, energy-efficient, and practical design solutions where appropriate.
  
• Collaborate with structural engineers, quantity surveyors, contractors, interior designers, and other project professionals to ensure coordinated project delivery.
  
• Review construction materials, finishes, fixtures, and other specifications to ensure they align with approved designs and quality expectations.
  
• Monitor project progress and provide technical clarification or design adjustments when required.
  
• Support and guide junior architects, interns, and other team members where necessary.
  
• Maintain accurate project documentation, drawings, revisions, and design records
  
• Stay informed about architectural trends, construction materials, design innovations, and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• BSc in Architecture from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in architectural design and project delivery.
  
• Proficiency in the following software applications: Autodesk Revit – architectural modelling and documentation, AutoCAD – technical drawings and drafting, SketchUp – 3D modelling and concept development, Lumion – architectural visualisation and rendering, 3ds Max – advanced 3D modelling and visualisation, and Microsoft Word – reports, documentation, and project correspondence.
• A strong architectural portfolio showcasing completed or proposed residential and/or commercial projects.
• Good understanding of architectural design principles, construction methods, building materials, and technical documentation.
  
• Knowledge of relevant building regulations, planning requirements, and construction standards.
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Ability to interpret client briefs and translate them into practical design solutions.
  
• Good organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  
• Demonstrate good character, professionalism, integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
