With major residential estates, commercial hubs, and infrastructural projects underway, we are expanding our core technical team. We are seeking a high-performing Project Manager for our Construction Department.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Site Execution & Supervision: Lead and direct daily civil and structural construction activities across active build sites.
- Contractor & Trade Management: Coordinate main contractors, structural engineers, MEP technicians, site supervisors, and artisans.
- Quality Assurance & Control: Perform rigorous technical inspections to ensure materials (concrete mix, rebar steel, masonry) and workmanship meet regulatory and structural safety benchmarks.
- Schedule & Milestone Management: Develop master project timelines (Gantt charts) and track progress to meet delivery schedules.
- Cost & Material Control: Partner with Quantity Surveyors to monitor material allocations, reduce site waste, and prevent cost overruns.
- Regulatory Compliance: Secure local building approvals, coordinate with Development Control/Physical Planning authorities, and enforce site Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols.
- Executive Technical Reporting: Provide weekly structural progress reports, risk logs, and milestone assessments directly to the Head of Construction / Executive Management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or Construction Management.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on structural construction experience, with at least 3 years in a direct Project Manager capacity on multi-unit residential estates or commercial developments in Nigeria.
- Full registration with COREN (Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria), CORBON (Builders Registration Board of Nigeria), or membership in NIOB / NSE is highly required.
- Proficiency in Project Management & CAD software (MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, or Revit).
- Advanced blueprint reading, deep knowledge of Nigerian building codes and soil/material testing, strong site team leadership, and crisis management skills.
