Job Summary
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects that advance FHFN’s mission. This includes administrative oversight, forward-thinking strategy, leadership of teams, and ensuring effective use of social media and other communication channels. The role will ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with strong impact.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Create detailed project plans (milestones, timelines, budget, and resource allocation).
- Monitor and adjust project plans as needed
- Ensure projects meet quality standards and objectives.
Administration & Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day administration for projects: documentation, reporting, and record-keeping.
- Maintain project budgets and monitor expenditures.
- Coordinate with vendors, partners, and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, motivate, and coordinate cross-functional teams (staff, volunteers, and external partners).
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and oversight to team members.
- Facilitate collaboration and communication within teams.
- Help set performance targets and review outcomes.
Forward Thinking & Strategy:
- Anticipate challenges, risks, and opportunities; develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Participate in strategic planning: inform future initiatives based on lessons learned.
- Innovate new project ideas, outreach methods, or partnerships to increase FHFN’s reach and impact.
Communications & Social Media:
- Develop and execute communications plans for each project.
- Use social media (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, TikTok, etc.) to raise awareness, engage the community, and promote events and fundraising.
- Craft content: posts, visuals, blogs, newsletters, and possibly media outreach.
- Monitor metrics (engagement, reach) and optimize content strategy accordingly.
Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy:
- Liaise with medical professionals, partner organizations, donors, volunteers, and beneficiaries.
- Represent FHFN at events, workshops, or with donors and partners.
- Collect feedback from the community to refine project approaches.
- Assist in policy or advocacy work as applicable.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting:
- Set up systems to measure project performance and impact.
- Collect and analyze data; prepare reports for leadership, donors, and stakeholders.
- Use insights to inform continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Public Health, Nonprofit Management, Communications or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years managing projects in the NGO/health sector or similarly complex environments.
- Strong leadership skills: ability to manage and inspire a team, delegate, and hold people accountable.
- Excellent administrative skills: planning, budgeting, record keeping, and attention to detail.
- Strategic thinker, proactive, and able to anticipate issues and propose solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Comfortable with public speaking or representation.
- Proficient with social media platforms, digital communications, and content creation. Experience using social media analytics.
- Strong organisational skills and time management; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with feminine he/reproductivetive health issues is a strong advantage. Knowledge of fibroids, gynecological conditions, awareness campaign work, etc.
- High integrity, respect for diversity and inclusion, and ability to work with sensitivity given the stigma and emotional components of women’s health.
