🌍 About the Project: Nearby Vendor
Nearby Vendor is a social commerce platform designed to empower micro-entrepreneurs and local buyers in Nigeria and across Africa. It creates a community marketplace where anyone can buy and sell easily within their neighborhood.
We launched the beta (web-based) version on 1st September 2025, with a target of 50,000 active users in 90 days. Once the milestone is reached, the full mobile app will be launched and monetization will begin.
📌 Role Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager (Volunteer) to lead the 90-day beta phase. You will oversee user acquisition strategy, referral growth, feature rollout, and infrastructure coordination while shaping a platform designed for real impact.
🛠️ Key Responsibilitie
- sDrive execution of the beta launch plan and product roadma
- pCoordinate tasks across product, design, community, and engineering team
- sTrack and report growth metrics (signups, daily active users, referrals
- )Lead weekly standups and enforce delivery timeline
- sBuild and manage the referral and community ambassador progra
- mGather structured feedback from early users and iterate fas
- tPrepare operations for post-beta scale and paid expansio

- s2–4 years experience managing digital projects or startup operation
- sStrong leadership, accountability, and communication skill
- sExperience using remote collaboration tools (Trello, Notion, Jira, Slack, etc.
