Responsibilities:
Programme Support:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of democracy and governance programs and initiatives.
- Support the development of programme materials, including reports, presentations, and training manuals.
- Monitor program activities, track progress, and ensure that project timelines and deliverables are met.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Support the engagement and communication with programme partners, participants, and stakeholders.
- Assist in building and maintaining relationships with government agencies, non-profits, and community organizations.
Communication & Outreach:
- Assist in the development and dissemination of programme-related communications, including newsletters, social media posts, and website content.
- Contribute to the creation of promotional materials and outreach strategies to raise awareness of ElectHER’s democracy and governance programmes.
- Support the communications team with programme communications and documentation.
Event Coordination:
- Organizing and coordinating events, workshops, and training sessions related to democracy and governance.
- Handle logistical arrangements, including venue booking, participant registration, and coordination with speakers and facilitators.
- Support the development of event materials and ensure effective communication with participants.
Research and Analysis:
- Research best practices, policy developments, and trends related to women's political participation and governance.
- Compile and analyze data to support program planning and evaluation.
- Prepare research briefs, summaries, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support to the programme team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of programme activities, correspondence, and documentation.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of grant proposals and funding reports.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of BSC
- 4 years of previous experience in a similar role
