The Professional Driver (Valet Parking) is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and courteous valet parking services across the restaurant group’s outlets. The role combines professional driving expertise with strong customer service skills, ensuring guests’ vehicles are handled with care, discretion, and professionalism.

Responsibilities:
Valet & Driving Operations
- Receive, park, move, secure, and retrieve guests’ vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Drive and handle manual, automatic, luxury, and SUV vehicles competently.
- Ensure vehicles are parked only in approved, designated valet areas.
- Accurately issue and manage valet tickets or digital parking records.
- Ensure timely vehicle retrieval, especially during peak service hours.
Customer Experience
- Welcome guests politely and professionally, representing the restaurant brand positively.
- Maintain a courteous, calm, and respectful attitude at all times.
- Assist guests with basic directions or escalate concerns appropriately.
- Handle guest property with care and maintain strict confidentiality.
Safety, Security & Compliance
- Comply with Nigerian road traffic laws and internal company policies.
- Conduct basic vehicle condition checks and document any visible pre-existing damage before collecting keys from vehicle owners where applicable.
- Secure vehicle keys properly and prevent unauthorized access.
- Immediately report accidents, damages, security risks, or misconduct.
- Support security personnel in maintaining order around the parking area.
Operational & Team Support
- Manage traffic flow at restaurant entrances to avoid congestion and reduce traffic.
- Coordinate closely with facility managers, security officers, and front-of-house teams to maintain law & order.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the valet and parking areas at all times.
- Support special events, promotions, weekends, and high-traffic periods.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3–5 years of professional driving experience.
- At least 2 years’ experience in valet parking, hospitality industry, or service-oriented environments.
- Minimum of OND/HND Certificate or higher.
- Demonstrated experience handling customer vehicles responsibly.
- Valid Nigerian Driver’s Licence (with appropriate class).
- Compliance with Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) regulations.
- Clean driving and disciplinary record.
- Strong driving, parking, and manoeuvring skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and communication skills.
- High integrity, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure during peak restaurant hours.
- Basic record-keeping and communication skills.
- Physically fit; able to stand, walk, and drive for extended periods.
- Alert, focused, and safety-conscious.
- Well-groomed, disciplined, and respectful.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and late nights.
