Job summary
We are seeking a highly organized and hands-on Production Manager to oversee garment production and ensure all client orders are completed to the required standard and delivered on time. The ideal candidate must have strong experience managing tailors, finishing staff, production timelines, garment quality, workflow, and production systems.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all production activities to ensure garments are completed to the required quality standard and agreed timeline.
- Manage the production team, including tailors and finishing staff, to ensure productivity, discipline, accountability, and consistent output.
- Ensure all garments are produced strictly according to client measurements, preferences, approved designs, and production instructions.
- Develop, manage, and monitor production schedules to ensure jobs are completed in line with agreed Production Delivery Dates.
- Work closely with Procurement and Quality Control to ensure materials are available on time and finished garments meet the company's standards.
- Monitor urgent and routine orders effectively, making practical adjustments where necessary without unnecessarily disrupting overall workflow.
- Reduce wastage, damage, rework, delays, and production losses through proper planning, supervision, and process control.
- Ensure the CRM and operational software are properly used to update production status, track progress, and support coordination across departments.
- Escalate production risks, delays, material issues, staff challenges, and operational concerns early to management with practical solutions.
- Carry out any other production-related responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.
Requirements:
- Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or relevant field.
- Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of garment production, tailoring processes, measurements, finishing, and quality standards.
- Experience supervising tailors, machinists, finishing staff, or production teams.
- Basic knowledge of CRM systems, production tracking tools, Microsoft Excel, or Google Sheets is an advantage.
- Experience in a fashion house, tailoring business, garment production company, or luxury/custom clothing brand.
- Strong understanding of client measurements, fittings, alterations, and finishing standards.
- Ability to identify production bottlenecks and implement practical solutions quickly.
- Good eye for quality, neat finishing, fabric handling, and production accuracy.
