Production Manager
Job summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented production cook (prep cook) manager to support kitchen operations by preparing ingredients and food items according to approved recipes and preparation standards. The role focuses on pre-service food preparation to ensure efficient and timely meal production in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily food preparation activities and ensure smooth prep kitchen operations.
- Prepare and oversee the preparation of ingredients such as vegetables, sauces, proteins, and fillings according to approved recipes and standards.
- Ensure ingredients are washed, cut, sliced, measured, portioned, and prepared correctly for kitchen operations.
- Ensure all ingredients and prep items are available before service periods begin.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and efficiency within prep stations and kitchen areas.
- Assist cooks and chefs during busy service periods when necessary.
- Ensure proper labelling, storage, and stock rotation (FIFO) procedures are followed.
- Monitor ingredient quantities and report shortages promptly.
- Support kitchen workflow to maintain service speed and operational efficiency.
- Maintain kitchen equipment used for food preparation.
- Assist with food assembly and kitchen coordination when required.
- Follow and enforce opening and closing kitchen procedures.
- Help reduce food waste through proper handling, storage, and portion control.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1–3 years of kitchen or food preparation experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to train and onboard new prep cook staff
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
Remuneration: NGN 95,000
Location: GRA,Ikeja
Work Mode:
- Monday to Friday - 8:30 am to 8:00 pm
- Saturday - 10 am to 8:00 pm
- Sunday - 11:30 am - 8:00 pm
- You get three days off a week from Monday to Friday
