Product Designer (UI/UX)
Job summary
The Product Designer is responsible for the end-to-end UI/UX design of the AfWS data centre software products — GOCLIMS and SteadGrid — as well as hardware user documentation and any marketing or brand design requirements. This role sits at the intersection of product thinking and visual craft. The designer works directly from product requirements

Responsibilities:
- Designed the GOCLIMS tenant portal — all screens, user flows, and component states from sign-up through to workload management, billing, and site visit booking
- Design the SteadGrid NOC dashboard — rack schematic views, server health grids, MEP status panels, access control interfaces, camera integration screens, and incident management flows
- Produce wireframes, user flow diagrams, and high-fidelity Figma prototypes for all features before the frontend build begins
- Define and maintain the product design system — component library, colour palette, typography, spacing, and icon set — shared across GOCLIMS and SteadGrid
- Produce hardware user manuals for OHMFlex devices (switches, sockets, hubs, CT clamps) — clear, illustrated, accessible to non-technical users
- Support marketing design requirements for Escrow-Tech Nigeria as needed
- Collaborate closely with the frontend engineer to ensure designs are implemented accurately
Requirements:
- Experience designing monitoring, operations, or industrial dashboard interfaces
- Technical writing or documentation design experience
- Motion design or micro-interaction experience for live data updates
- Familiarity with data centre, fintech, or enterprise SaaS product design conventions
- Experience designing device user manuals or hardware product documentation
