Design the Zela creator app for Android (and later iOS). Every screen our creators touch — from first-time onboarding to a brand-deal payout — passes through you.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end design for the Android creator app, working closely with engineering on Expo / React Native constraints
- Run user research with creators across our launch markets (Nigeria, Brazil, Philippines)
- Maintain and extend the Zela design system: tokens, components, motion patterns
- Partner with marketing on landing-page visuals when they need product mockups
What we're looking for
- 4+ years of mobile product design experience
- Strong portfolio showing shipped consumer mobile work
- Fluent in Figma, comfortable shipping prototypes
- Empathy for emerging-market constraints (low-bandwidth, mid-tier devices, multilingual)
Bonus, not required
- Built design systems from scratch before
- Background in creator economy products
- Bilingual (English plus any of: Portuguese, Spanish, French, Pidgin, Yoruba)
