Procurement Officer
Job summary
The Procurement Officer will manage procurement activities, ensuring the timely, cost-effective sourcing of vendors, quality products, equipment, supplies, and services. The role will oversee sourcing, supplier negotiations, order placement, delivery tracking, and accurate procurement records.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Review purchase requests and source reliable suppliers.
- Obtain and compare quotations; negotiate prices, terms, and delivery timelines.
- Place orders and follow up on deliveries.
- Maintain an approved supplier database and monitor supplier performance.
- Coordinate stock levels and replenishment with Operations and Energy Bar teams.
- Ensure purchases meet approved budgets, specifications, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Prepare procurement and expenditure reports.
- Follow approval procedures, financial controls, and ethical procurement standards.
- Resolve supplier and delivery issues promptly.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years’ procurement or purchasing experience.
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, organisational, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of procurement and inventory management.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
