Procurement Personnel

Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase fresh food items, ingredients, and kitchen supplies
• Ensure all materials are available on time for practical classes and exams
• Build and maintain relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers
• Negotiate pricing to get the best value without compromising quality
• Inspect deliveries to ensure freshness and quality standards are met
• Collaborate with the Student Administration Team to plan procurement needs
• Stay updated on market prices and trends for food items and supplies

Inventory & Quality Focus:

• Ensure proper handling and storage of all procured items
• Support efficient stock management and minimize wastage
• Track usage patterns and suggest smarter purchasing strategies
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and deliveries

• OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Hospitality, Food Science, or a related field
• Previous experience in procurement, hospitality, or food services is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of food items, storage, and handling practices
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Good organizational and record-keeping abilities
• High attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
