A reputable school in Ketu-Ikosi is seeking a dedicated, experienced, and passionate Year 4 Teacher to provide effective teaching and learning while supporting pupils’ academic, social, and personal development.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the school curriculum.
- Teach core subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Basic Science, and Social Studies, as well as other assigned subjects.
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, class activities, tests, and assessments.
- Monitor, assess, and record pupils’ academic progress.
- Identify pupils’ learning needs and provide appropriate support.
- Maintain effective classroom management and promote positive behaviour.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, confidence, and active participation in learning.
- Provide regular feedback to pupils and parents/guardians on academic progress.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and pupils’ performance.
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and other assigned duties.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and school management.
- Ensure a safe, respectful, and stimulating learning environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an OND in Education or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with Primary/Year 4 pupils.
- Good knowledge of the primary school curriculum and effective teaching methods.
- Excellent communication, lesson planning, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to use interactive, practical, and learner-centred teaching methods.
- Must be patient, creative, organised, energetic, and passionate about teaching children.
- Must be professional, punctual, responsible, and presentable.
