Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Teach primary school pupils in line with the approved curriculum.
- Prepare lesson notes, schemes of work, and classroom learning activities.
- Assess and evaluate pupils' academic performance regularly.
- Maintain discipline and a conducive learning environment.
- Support the intellectual, social, and emotional development of pupils.
- Prepare and mark assignments, tests, and examinations.
- Maintain accurate records of pupils' attendance and performance.
- Participate in school meetings, events, and other academic activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and school management on pupil progress.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc./B.Ed.) in Education or a related field.
- Good classroom management and teaching skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Passion for teaching and child development.
- Ability to engage and motivate young learners.
- Previous teaching experience is an added advantage.
