Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons for primary school pupils.
- Create a safe, orderly, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Assess pupils’ work, monitor progress, and maintain accurate academic records.
- Prepare pupils for tests and examinations and complete report writing.
- Maintain discipline and promote positive behaviour in line with school policies.
- Provide care and ensure the safety and well-being of pupils.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding pupils’ progress.
- Participate in staff meetings, school activities, and professional development programmes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of NCE, B.Ed., or B.A./B.Sc. with PGDE.
- Proven experience teaching at the primary school level is an advantage.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for teaching and working with children.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other staff.
