Responsibilities:
- Mix and prepare plaster of Paris (POP) materials according to specifications
- Apply screeding to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to achieve smooth finishes
- Create decorative designs, moldings, and patterns using POP
- Repair cracks, holes, and imperfections on surfaces before finishing
- Ensure proper curing and finishing of POP applications
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition
- Follow safety guidelines and ensure compliance with construction standards
- Collaborate with other construction workers and supervisors to meet project deadlines
- Provide input on material requirements and assist in inventory management
- Deliver high-quality workmanship that enhances the overall aesthetics of the project
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a POP Screeder or plasterer
- Knowledge of POP mixing application techniques and finishing methods
- Ability to read and interpret design plans and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in decorative work
- Physical stamina and ability to work in demanding environments
- Good communication and teamwork skills
