Plumber

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, sanitary fittings, and plumbing fixtures.
• Read and interpret plumbing drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Diagnose plumbing faults and provide effective repair solutions.
• Install and maintain pipes, valves, taps, toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers, water heaters, and related plumbing equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Detect and repair leaks, blocked drains, damaged pipes, and faulty fixtures.
• Test plumbing systems for functionality, pressure, and compliance with safety standards.
• Ensure all plumbing installations comply with Nigerian building codes and industry regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work, materials used, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with electricians, masons, carpenters, and other technicians on construction or maintenance projects.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and in good condition.
• Respond promptly to emergency plumbing issues when required.
• Recommend suitable materials and replacement parts for plumbing repairs.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements:

• Minimum of SSCE, Trade Test Certificate, Technical Certificate, or equivalent vocational qualification in Plumbing.
• 2 years of previous experience in a similar role.
