Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver theoretical and practical PHE lessons.
- Teach physical fitness, sports, health education, and safety practices.
- Organise sporting activities, exercises, and competitions.
- Monitor students during practical activities to ensure safety.
- Assess students’ physical and academic development.
- Encourage teamwork, discipline, fitness, and healthy lifestyles.
- Maintain sports equipment and facilities appropriately.
- Support school sports programmes and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree/HND in Physical & Health Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of sports and physical fitness.
- Previous teaching experience is an advantage.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to supervise practical activities effectively.
- Good understanding of health and safety practices.
