Job summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior PHP Developer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in PHP development. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of PHP7 and PHP8, along with expertise in Smarty template engine. In addition to advanced PHP skills, the candidate should be proficient in Linux server administration.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize high-performance PHP web applications.
- Design and implement scalable and robust features using PHP7 and PHP8.
- Utilize the Smarty template engine to create efficient and maintainable templates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
- Administer Linux servers, ensuring smooth deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Identify and resolve performance and security issues in PHP applications.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance development processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in PHP development.
- Proficiency in PHP7 and PHP8, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Experience with the Smarty template engine.
- Solid understanding of Linux server administration.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience with other web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Familiarity with database systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of web security best practices.

Work Schedule & Hours (Non-Negotiable):
This role operates within a billable-hour system; therefore, working hours are fixed and must be fully maintained.
- Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Break: 1-hour break included
- Total Daily Hours: 8 hours
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours
- Monthly Hours: 160 hours
Consistent availability during these hours is mandatory for team collaboration, client alignment, and delivery tracking
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
