PHE Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development: Design and implement comprehensive physical education and health programs that meet educational standards and state requirements. 
• Lesson Planning: Create dynamic, inclusive, and age-appropriate lesson plans that cover a wide range of physical skills, sports, and healthy lifestyle choices. 
• Instruction: Teach students various physical activities, such as team and individual sports, dance, and gymnastics, while emphasising proper techniques and safety. 
• Health Education: Educate students on the benefits of regular exercise, nutrition, and the dangers of substance abuse to promote healthy habits and attitudes. 
• Student Assessment: Evaluate student progress and performance using various methods, providing constructive feedback and support for their growth. 
• Classroom Environment: Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom or gymnasium environment that promotes teamwork and student participation. 
• Extracurricular Activities: Organise, supervise, and promote extracurricular sports, fitness clubs, and school-wide health initiatives. 
• Collaboration: Work with other teachers, counsellors, and health professionals to create integrated programs that support students' overall health and wellness. 
• Professional Development: Stay current with best practices, trends, and research in physical education and health. 

Requirements:

• B.Sc.in Physical and Health Education, Kinetics or related fields.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of teaching the Junior Secondary Classes
• Having a good mastery of the subject matter and being familiar with the examination processes and regulations.
•  ICT Literacy
• Should have experience in CBT-related digital assessments,
• Basic computer skills/knowledge.
