Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Preparing Medications: Count, measure, package, and label prescriptions accurately under a pharmacist's supervision.
- Processing Orders: Receive prescription requests, check patient details, and enter data into the pharmacy database.
- Customer Service: Greet patients, answer phone calls, and hand out completed prescriptions.
- Communication: Call doctors' offices or insurance companies to clarify prescription details and fix billing issues.
- Inventory Control: Restock shelves, check expiration dates, and order new medical supplies.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of HND/ BSC.
- 1-2 years of previous experience in a similar role.
