Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter prescription details into the pharmacy management system
- Verify patient information, medication details, and dosage instructions
- Review prescriptions for completeness and accuracy
- Communicate with pharmacists to resolve discrepancies or missing information
- Maintain up-to-date patient records and ensure data integrity
- Handle insurance and billing data entry where applicable
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and confidentiality standards
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Diploma or certification in Pharmacy Technician studies or a related field
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or data entry role is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Basic knowledge of medications and pharmaceutical terminology
- Proficiency in computer systems and data entry tools
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Remuneration: NGN 100,000 monthly.
Location: Transamadi, Port Harcourt - Rivers
