Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescribed medications.
- Prepare and package medications accurately.
- Maintain proper records of medications dispensed.
- Monitor stock levels and support inventory management activities.
- Receive, store, and organize pharmaceutical supplies.
- Ensure compliance with established pharmacy procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Provide courteous and professional support to patients and healthcare personnel.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy unit.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies.
- Valid registration/licence with the relevant regulatory body.
- Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Good knowledge of pharmaceutical products and inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be available for immediate resumption.
