Responsibilities:
- Conduct scientific evaluations of plant-based ingredients, ensuring consistency, potency, and safety in formulations.
- Work closely with agronomists and management to optimize plant selection, sustainability, and research initiatives.
- Educate customers on the benefits and applications of herbal products, providing expert guidance.
- Train and mentor staff members on best practices in plant science, pharmacognosy, and formulation techniques.
- Ensure all herbal products meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines.
- Stay updated on emerging research in herbal medicine, recommending improvements and new product innovations.
- Work independently to drive research, development, and implementation of herbal product strategies.
Requirements:
- Degree in Pharmacognosy or a related field.
- Proven experience in plant-based product formulation, herbal research, or garden management.
- Strong knowledge of medicinal plants, active compounds, and their therapeutic applications.
- Ability to conduct scientific research, product analysis, and quality control testing.
- Excellent communication skills for customer education and staff training.
- Self-directed, goal-oriented, and passionate about natural medicine and plant-based products.
- Ability to work collaboratively with agronomists, management, and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices in herbal product development.
