Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Accurately preparing and dispensing prescription medications, ensuring patient safety and adherence to regulations.
- Providing guidance on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions, as well as offering health advice and recommendations.
- Conduct basic health screenings, such as blood pressure checks and glucose testing.
- Reviewing patient medication profiles to identify potential issues, such as drug interactions or allergies.
- Managing pharmacy inventory, including ordering and stocking medications and other products.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to optimize patient care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm.D Degree
- Current license to practice or evidence of registration with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria.
- Previous experience in a community pharmacy is an added advantage.
