Pharmacist

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately and efficiently
• Counsel patients on the proper use, dosage, side effects, and storage of medications
• Review and verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and safety
• Maintain proper records of medications dispensed and patient profiles
• Monitor drug inventory, manage stock levels, and coordinate procurement as needed
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and facility policies
• Collaborate with medical and clinical staff to optimize patient care and drug therapy outcomes
• Identify and report adverse drug reactions or medication errors promptly

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical care standards
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must reside in Asokoro or its immediate environs (this is a strict requirement)
