Job summary
We are hiring a pharmacist; post-NYSC experience is required for this role. We are seeking a licensed and dedicated Pharmacist to oversee the dispensing of medications, provide expert pharmaceutical care, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, knowledgeable, and committed to promoting health and wellness.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and provide counseling on proper usage, dosage, and side effects.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, drug interactions, and appropriateness.
- Provide professional advice to customers on over-the-counter medications and general health concerns.
- Ensure proper storage, inventory management, and stock control of pharmaceutical products.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with PCN and other regulatory guidelines.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and other support staff.
- Monitor and manage expired drugs and ensure the pharmacy is well-organized and hygienic.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from a recognized university.
- Must be a registered member of the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) with a valid practicing license.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-NYSC experience in a retail, community, or hospital pharmacy.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs, dosages, and therapeutic effects.
- Excellent communication, counseling, and customer service skills.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and professionalism.
Remuneration: NGN 300,000 - 400,000
