Pharmacist

Responsibilities:

• Prepares and accurately dispenses prescriptions, ensuring the correct medication, dosage, and instructions.
• Reviews patient medical histories for allergies and dangerous interactions with other drugs, foods, or conditions.
• Educates patients on how and when to take medication, possible side effects, and storage requirements.
• Administers immunisations, performs basic health screenings (e.g., blood pressure, cholesterol), and offers lifestyle advice

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or Pharm.D).
• Current practising licence issued by the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN).
• Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical care and medication management.
• Good understanding of regulatory and ethical standards governing pharmacy practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in the use of pharmacy management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
