Responsibilities:
Patient Care and Safety:
- Dispense drugs: Fill prescriptions accurately from doctors.
- Check safety: Prevent bad drug interactions and side effects.
- Counsel people: Explain how, when, and why to take a medicine.
- Give vaccines: Administer routine immunizations, such as flu shots.
Clinical and Hospital Support:
- Collaborate with doctors: Recommend precise drug doses based on lab results.
- Monitor treatment: Track patient recovery and adjust therapy plans.
- Manage minor illnesses: Recommend over-the-counter treatments for simple symptoms.
Management and Regulation:
- Control inventory: Maintain safe stock levels of medical supplies.
- Supervise staff: Oversee pharmacy technicians and interns.
- Keep records: Maintain legal and medical documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of BSc.
- 1 year of previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience in community phar
Remuneration: NGN 150,000- 180,000
