Responsibilities:

Grooming & Styling Bathing & Drying:

Using specialised shampoos and industrial dryers to clean the coat and remove dead undercoat.
Painstakingly untangling and removing knotted or matted fur to prevent skin irritation.
Styling fur according to breed standards or specific owner requests using clippers, shears, and razors.
Reducing heavy shedding by stripping out loose undercoats.

Hygiene & Health Maintenance Nail Care:

Trimming nails safely to prevent overgrowth, splitting, and joint pain, and grinding the edges smooth.
Carefully removing debris and wax buildup to prevent infections.
Brushing teeth or using products to reduce tartar buildup and freshen breath.
Expressing anal glands to prevent discomfort and blockages.
Checking the pet's skin, eyes, mouth, and body for unusual lumps, rashes, redness, ticks, or fleas, and reporting findings to the owner.

Client & Pet Relations:

Keeping animals calm, using soothing techniques, and safely handling pets that may be anxious, aggressive, or uncooperative.
Speaking with pet owners to understand their exact grooming preferences and evaluating the pet's specific coat and skin needs.
Ensuring the grooming station, tools, and tubs are fully sanitised after every session to prevent the spread of bacteria or parasites
