The HR / People Manager plays a strategic and operational role in managing the agency’s human capital. This position is responsible for developing and executing HR strategies, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring the agency attracts, develops, and retains top talent to drive business growth. We want someone who manages and gets people. The role requires a balance between traditional HR management and people-focused leadership suited for a fast-paced, client-driven business development environment.

Job Description/Requirements
- Develop and manage recruitment strategies to attract high-caliber talent for business development, sales, marketing, and operational roles.
- Oversee the end-to-end hiring process, including job postings, interviews, and offer management.
- Design and manage onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires into the company culture.
- Implement and maintain performance management systems aligned with organizational goals.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and career development planning with team leads.
- Promote a people-first culture centered on growth, accountability, and innovation.
- Facilitate internal communications, feedback channels, and team engagement initiatives.
- Identify training needs and create development plans for employees and team leaders.
- Partner with leadership to build capacity in client management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Organize workshops, mentorship programs, and continuous learning opportunities.
- Maintain and update HR policies, handbooks, and procedures in line with labor regulations and company values.
- Manage payroll, employee records, and benefits administration.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, health and safety standards, and data protection regulations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and leadership on people-related matters.
- Manage conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and employee grievance cases fairly and transparently.
- Oversee employee engagement programs, recognition systems, and wellness initiatives.
- Provide HR insights and analytics to support strategic planning and business growth decisions.
- Collaborate with leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and succession management.
- Drive initiatives that enhance retention, diversity, and employer branding.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4 years of HR management experience (agency or fast-growth environment preferred).
- Strong understanding of Nigerian labor laws and global HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work with cross-functional teams.
- HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
