People and Culture Analyst
Job summary
We are seeking a highly analytical people & culture analyst to drive data-led people strategies and organisational growth. The role supports leadership with insights, workforce planning, and talent strategy, ensuring the organisation attracts, develops, and retains top talent while strengthening culture, engagement, and performance.

Responsibilities:
- Analyse and interpret key people metrics, including turnover, engagement, EDI, performance, and compensation trends.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support executive decision-making and workforce strategy.
- Conduct deep-dive and ad hoc analyses to inform organisational design, workforce optimisation, and growth planning.
- Partner with leadership to identify talent gaps and recommend data-driven workforce solutions aligned with business goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor by translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Support executive leadership in identifying and attracting the right talent required to drive organisational growth.
- Contribute to workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and capability mapping.
- Support succession planning and talent development strategies to strengthen internal pipelines.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to align recruitment with strategic priorities.
- Support the design and implementation of culture and engagement initiatives (e.g., values programmes, recognition, internal communications).
- Lead analysis of engagement and pulse surveys, providing insights and recommendations to improve employee experience.
- Monitor cultural health indicators and help translate findings into impactful interventions.
- Support onboarding experiences with a strong focus on cultural integration and alignment.
- Track and report on EDI metrics and progress against organisational goals.
- Support the development and implementation of inclusive practices and initiatives.
- Provide insights to ensure equitable outcomes across recruitment, development, and retention.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and governance of all HR data across systems.
- Maintain and optimise HRIS and reporting tools for improved efficiency and insight generation
- Support compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
- Contribute to audits and ensure proper documentation and reporting standards.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, performance, exits, etc.).
- Support the performance review cycle through tracking, reporting, and insights.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve people processes and efficiency.
- Act as a key point of contact within the People Team for analytics and culture-related initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5 years’ experience in HR, people analytics, or workforce planning roles.
- Demonstrated experience supporting strategic HR or business leadership.
- Strong analytical capability with advanced proficiency in Excel and HRIS platforms.
- Experience building dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or similar is an advantage).
- Ability to interpret data and translate insights into business recommendations.
- Solid understanding of HR principles across the employee lifecycle.
- Knowledge of employment legislation (UK or relevant jurisdiction).
- Familiarity with organisational development and change management practices.
- Strategic thinking with a strong commercial mindset.
- Excellent communication and storytelling with data.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
