Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, bake, and decorate a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to recipes and quality standards.
- Develop and create new pastry items and menu offerings.
- Ensure consistency, taste, and presentation of all baked products.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the pastry kitchen.
- Monitor inventory of ingredients and assist in ordering supplies.
- Manage baking schedules to meet service demands efficiently.
- Train and supervise pastry kitchen staff, ensuring proper techniques are followed.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and company policies.
- Control costs and minimize waste while maintaining product quality.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to coordinate pastry offerings with the overall menu.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a B.Sc. qualification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
