We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Palliative Care Consultant to provide specialized medical care focused on improving the quality of life of patients with serious, chronic, or life-limiting illnesses. The ideal candidate will manage pain and symptoms, offer emotional and psychosocial support, and work closely with patients

Responsibilities:
- Provide expert palliative care to patients with advanced or terminal illnesses
- Manage pain, symptoms, and side effects of serious medical conditions
- Develop individualized care plans focused on comfort and quality of life
- Offer emotional, psychological, and end-of-life support to patients and families
- Collaborate with oncologists, neurologists, intensivists, and other specialists
- Support decision-making regarding treatment options and care goals
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions
- Provide guidance on hospice care and end-of-life planning where appropriate
- Maintain accurate patient records and care documentation
- Ensure adherence to ethical standards and compassionate care principles
- Train and support junior doctors and healthcare staff in palliative practices
- Participate in community outreach and awareness programs on palliative care
Requirements:
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
- Fellowship in Internal Medicine or related specialty with training in Palliative Care (FWACP, FMCP, MRCP, or equivalent)
- Subspecialty training or certification in Palliative Medicine
- Valid practicing license with MDCN
- Minimum of 5–10 years relevant clinical experience
- Strong knowledge of pain management and symptom control
- Excellent communication, empathy, and counseling skills
